Town And Country: Shutter Installation With Footer Mount Letter

This letter applies to Town And Country’s shutter installations for use along with an existing Product Approval Document. The letter is intended to certify the required size and reinforcement parameters for a footer to be installed to support the base of the shutter during a windstorm event.  This document has been designed to meet the requirements of the selected building code above and, upon ordering, will be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer of the firm. Use it with your other approved documents to obtain a building permit. (Former Letter #15-2761)

Maximum Shutter Height = 12ft

Maximum Shutter Width = 25ft

Maximum Shutter Load = 85 psf

The letter is sold as an engineered sealed document and meets the requirements of the current Building Codes in the state selected. It is generic, and installations beyond the scope and limitations of this document shall require site-specific engineering.
